  • There is no registration fee.
  • There is NO childminding provided at the conference.
  • To be eligible for a hotel room for the 3 night conference you must live outside the municipal boundaries of Ottawa and Gatineau
  • All hotel room reservations will be made by the conference convener (Jangles Productions).
  • If you are eligible for overnight stay registering on-line automatically reserves a hotel room.
    DO NOT PHONE THE HOTEL TO MAKE A RESERVATION.
  • Those delegates eligible for overnight stay will receive three (3) room-nights at one of the two hotels (single occupancy). Accommodation is pre-paid for the nights of November 12, 13, 14 or as indicated in each registration, and only for agencies and organizations directly delivering settlement programs and services as funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This includes room and taxes only. 
  • All delegates staying in the hotel are responsible for any and all incidentals. These include items such all telephone calls (local and long distance calls), the mini-bar, spa, laundry service, room service, and ordering movies and games.
  • Upon registering at the hotel delegates will be asked to present a credit card as a means of covering incidentals or a cash amount of approximately $50.
  • There will be hard wired internet stations made available free of charge in the business centre in each hotel as well as free wifi throughout each hotel.
  • Each hotel is a smoke-free environment.
  • Meals provided during the conference for those eligible and STAYING AT ONE OF THE HOTELS:
    • November 13:  Breakfast, Lunch and 2 Breaks
    • November 14:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and 2 Breaks
    • November 15:  Breakfast, Lunch and 1 Break
  • Meals provided during the conference for those NOT STAYING AT ANY HOTEL:
    • November 13:  Lunch and 2 Breaks
    • November 14:  Lunch, Dinner and 2 Breaks
    • November 15:  Lunch and 1 Break
  • Meals not provided to delegates who are staying at the hotel but can be claimed include:
  • Delegates are responsible for meals while travelling to and from the conference (i.e. - lunch Nov. 12 and Dinner Nov. 15) and may be claimed up to the Treasury Board guidelines (see amounts in the claim form on this website)
  • Parking is available at both hotels (see maps below). Parking will be reimbursed for delegates on travel status.
